Auggie White was presented with a flag flown over Welcome Home during the 6th Annual Charity Picnic.
On Monday, September 18th, Welcome Home co-hosted the annual Charity Picnic alongside the Rock Bridge Lions Club. During the evening’s program, Auggie was presented a flag that was flown over Welcome Home in honor of his can crushing the last six years.
From Auggie, “What an honor it is to work alongside this wonderful organization with so many amazing people. Thank you for all that you do.”
Auggie shared a check at the event for $314, which represents 440lbs of crushed aluminum cans or roughly 14,460 cans this year, to date.
“We could not do this without the generous can donations that continue to come our way, even after six years. Many thanks to those who continue to support Auggie and Welcome Home”.
